ATR is pleased to announce the Tooele, Utah facility located at 135 Lodestone Way has been successfully relocated to nearby Salt Lake City, UT.  The new 30,000+ square foot facility will be located at 1130 S 3800 Street, W Suite 200 Salt Lake City, UT 84104.

ATR Salt Lake City FacilityThe Salt Lake City expansion comes just 2 years after the initial acquisition of ERS (Electronic Recycling Solutions) in late 2016.   “This has been an important region for us,” said Brodie Ehresman a spokesman for ATR.  “The Tooele operation provided additional material management capabilities for our ITAD (Information Technology Asset Disposition) customers,” continues Ehresman.  “The Salt Lake City facility has been able to operate as a primary logistics and processing hub for the North West Region.”  The new 30,000+ SQ/FT facility has 7 loading docks, ground level access, and the facility will include a showroom featuring a wide range of electronics for purchase.  In the coming months Online shoppers will be offered a local and convenient pickup option.  The official grand opening is scheduled for Spring 2019 with specific details to be announced later on the company’s local Facebook page.

“The new location will make it more convenient for local customers and improves logistics throughout the West Coast,” said Isaac Dougal, the Utah Facility Manager for ATR.

The Salt Lake City Valley, which is often referred to as Silicon Slopes, located in the heart of the Front Range Megaregion and home to many of the worlds leading tech giants.    This key demographic stretches all the way to ATR’s newest site which will be located in Las Vegas NV and opening in late January of 2019.  “The Vegas facility will be the 9th location and 3rd major expansion in just 1 year for ATR,” said Ehresman    ATR began providing ITAD (Information Technology Asset Disposition) Management services in 1992 with the inception of their first computer store in Pontiac IL.  Today the company provides sustainable ITAD, Secure Destruction and Recycling Services to customers that require a high degree of secure operational control and accountability for their retired technology assets.

“These new locations were necessary to expand our Logistics, Managed IT Services and ITAD programs throughout the U.S.  ” said Ehresman.  “Our customers have overwhelmingly asked for more logistics options to reduce costs and additional processing/service capabilities to the West Coast regions.”

In addition to the new locations, ATR has also implemented a dedicated Customer Service department which is divided up into two separate teams strategically located throughout the U.S. but centrally controlled from the newly remodeled campus in Pontiac, IL.   The team is led by Ray Magee, a long term employee and trusted member of the Corporate Executive team.  “The Client Experience Team acts as a bridge between our customers and the continuously expanding network of operation hubs throughout the U.S.  This team ensures collaboration between the Account Managers, Customer Service, Compliance, Logistics and Operations departments to ensure everything is being done efficiently and to the customers specifications,”  said Ehresman.   “The group also works closely with the newly formed site start up team, tasked with providing training and operational support to the new sites and relocated staff.”

This is not the first relocation expansion for ATR, the nationwide ITAD Management and Recycling company, which also moved its Grand Rapids Michigan operation to a larger facility in January of 2018.   It’s been a productive year for ATR, which currently has (8) R2 certified facilities totaling 400,000 SQ/FT of processing space, 56 fleet vehicles, nearly 200 employees and they’re actively looking for merger and acquisition opportunities throughout the 11 Megaregions.    ATR is hiring for a wide range of positions and job postings can be found here.  If you would like more information on the types of products and services ATR provides, visit them online here to chat with a Customer Service member or call toll free 1-877-781-7779.
