This memorial day as turbulent times are upon us from many fronts, please take a moment to think about what “Freedom” means to you, how it impacts your lives, then stop for a moment and reflect on those service members who have given the ultimate sacrifice to protect “our freedoms”. Their family, friends, colleagues, service members, and others who wait for their return only to be saddened when they learn they will not be returning.
It is our duty and responsibility to be humble and remember this is not just another holiday to enjoy with our family, water ski with our friends, camp with our buddies, or laugh and joke without remembering our “freedom” came at a cost, and this weekend is in remembrance of that cost.
To all the families and service members who gave the ultimate sacrifice, I salute you! for protecting our way of life and our “freedoms”.
