Value Recovery Director – Pontiac, IL

Job Title: Value Recovery Director 

Position Objective: Drive increase in sales (wholesale & retail) through the training and management of all value employees at multiple locations 

Responsibilities:

  • Increase sales volume in both wholesale and retail at assigned locations
  • Management of day to day activities of value (asset) recovery teams
  • Ability to develop staff to improve sales
  • Manage pricing related to equipment, ensuring top dollar
  • Training of all wholesale and retail asset recovery associates
  • Maintain relationship with Site Managers regarding value (asset) recovery teams
  • Establish procedures for the value (asset) recovery teams to increase effectiveness and training of new associates
  • Establish and maintain new buyer relationships
  • Consistent communication with buyers
  • Work with Marketing Department to increase effectiveness of company store
  • Report effectiveness of department to Business Development Managers and Site Managers on weekly calls
  • Manage RMA staff to ensure necessary actions are taken to alleviate/minimize returns.

DOT Supervisor – Pontiac, IL

Position Objective:An ideal candidate will have an extensive knowledge/ background in diesel trucks, be highly organized, possess the ability to decipher and adhere to FMCSA/DOT regulations, strong Microsoft Office Suite skills, including using an Outlook calendar, and basic knowledge of database operations (training will be provided on our unique database), must be a team player and willing to assist with special projects.

Responsibilities:

Duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Titling and registration of all vehicles in company fleet across the country, including yearly renewals Multiple Quarterly Taxes Yearly registrations with FMCSA/ DOT and states as needed.
  • Yearly reporting to ICC, UCR, MCS-150 etc.
  • Tracking maintenance of vehicles and forklifts
  • Effective communication with multiple Supervisors/Managers and co-workers at multiple locations and Corporate Headquarters.
  • Scheduling and prioritizing maintenance of vehicles and forklifts
  • Qualifying of drivers throughout the company in accordance with company and FMCSA regulations
  • Tracking drivers and trucks via Geotab system
  • Ensuring all drivers are logging hours and vehicle inspections in accordance with company and FMCSA regulations
  • Retaining complete files on all drivers, vehicles, forklifts, registrations, taxes, maintenance, reporting.

Position Objective: Local Class A CDL Driver duties include general driving but not limited to tractor/ trailer Class A CDL

Responsibilities:

  • Operate tractor/ trailer in accordance with Department of Transportation and Company guidelines, and in a safe and efficient manner. Fully comply with all hours of service rules. Perform regular equipment checks, complete related documentation and notify supervisor of any unsafe condition
  • Deliver products to dealer locations as scheduled and as requested. Notify Site Manager, Supervisor, scheduling personnel and/or customer of any immediate delivery problems
  • Assist with unloading trucks and warehousing and/or palletizing at customer locations as needed. Pick up and load returned products as instructed. Complete all related paperwork.
  • Provide basic customer service related to deliveries and assist in resolving related problems. Inspect product for defects as needed
  • Complete an accurate driver log to be submitted on a daily basis along with other trip sheet, fuel, and maintenance and delivery documentation.
  • Report accidents and complete appropriate paperwork per established mandated and Plant procedures
  • Submit to drug and alcohol testing as required under DOT and Company guidelines
  • Maintain current knowledge of, and comply with, CDL/Dot and Company/Plant requirements and standards.
  • Immediately notify supervisor of a problem with CDL, driving record status and/or medical certification.
  • Perform related duties as assigned

 

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 21 years old and by physically qualified to drive a truck in accordance with DOT requirements
  • Must have ability to read and speak English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, understand highway traffic signs and signals, and to make entries on reports and records
  • 2 year CDL experience with a good driving records

Rapidly expanding business is looking for a motivated employee who can grow with us. We are an electronic recycling and asset management company that needs an individual to post online auction to eBay. Individual may also be asked to do a range of other duties which may include shipping, inventory, and record keeping.

 

Responsibilities May Include:

 

Determine pricing of products to be sold

Research product information

Create a written description of the product

Listing on eBay and local classifieds

Taking and editing photos for listings

Manage and monitor incoming product in the Data Base and in person

Provide excellent customer satisfaction and follow up throughout the sale process

Maintain spreadsheets when needed
