The Celadon Group abruptly closed their doors just days after news broke of an alleged fraud scheme involving Celadon executives. This marks the largest logistics company bankruptcy filing of 2019 and possibly ever.

According to a CBS News Release this is only 1 out of nearly 800 logistics companies this year to close. There is no question Celadon is the worse, leaving nearly 4,000 employees without a job as the holiday season approaches. Reports show Celadons fleet included roughly 3,300 trucks and 10,000 trailers many of which are stranded at the time of this article.
