ATR Expansion Efforts Continue Creating More Jobs & Added Services
This past year Advanced Technology Recycling (ATR) a Global Leader in ITAD Management and Secure Destruction Services completed 3 major expansions in their quest to bring the industries most comprehensive service portfolio to the West Coast.
While most business were hunkered down over the long winter months of 2018, ATR was hard at work relocating their Grand Rapids MI facility to a new 30,000 Sq/Ft facility located in the newly formed Amplify GR zone. ATR was the first company selected to occupy the newly renovated spaces being offered by Amplify GR and Rockford Construction.
“The relocation took less than 2 weeks to complete.” continued Ehresman “This was the first of 3 major expansions planned for 2018 and done under the close supervision of ATR’s newly formed Remote Support and Client Service teams. The teams are tasked with monitoring all work flows to ensure all customer specifications are completed.
Once Grand Rapids MI was back online the team then began work on the ATR Tooele UT location which took longer but was still completed by year end. The new facility in nearby Salt Lake City UT has over 30,000 Sq/Ft of space and 3 times as many docks. “These expansions were necessary to bring our processing facilities closer to customers in nearby cities and to reduce logistics costs by reducing time necessary to schedule pickups.” said Ehresman “We’re not just adding more jobs” continued Ehresman “We’re creating better jobs with higher pay and more advancement options than ever before.” The company has dedicated an entire section of their web site to job postings and according to Ehresman the Career Opportunities page has become one of most popular to date.
The Las Vegas NV valley has been a target region for Nationwide ITAD provider who specializes in a wide range of Secure Destruction options for not only the Gaming Industry but also the Data Centers and network of Manufacturing companies that take advantage of the Deserts unique climate. “The Las Vegas facility is essentially our gateway to the West,” said Ehresman “this important region will see significant grown in 2019 with the hiring of a wide range of positions that include everything from general labor in the warehouse to skilled technical positions and CDL Drivers.”
“The region is so important to us,” continues Ehresman “that most of our senior managers, our entire Account Managers group and most of our BDMs flew out there to meet with clients and to help new staff come up to speed in record time.” According to Ehresman both the Salt Lake City and Vegas expansions went extremely smooth and the sites were online and receiving equipment in record time. This is only the beginning for the Woman Owned ITAD/ITAM company who announced in an earlier press release they’re actively looking for more acquisition and merger opportunities throughout the technological Megaregions throughout the U.S.
