Barbara J. Ehresman, Chairman/CEO

Barb_0040_72dpiBarbara started her Career with B&K  in Pontiac in 1992 with her husband Kenneth.  Barbara received her Degree in Computer Science in 1999 from Heartland Community College while being a full time mother and business owner.  Al ong with her Degree, Barbara has been responsible for steering B&K Technology Solutions Inc. into the emerging market of E-Scrap Collection and Processing since 2004.  Barb holds various Board Positions including the Illinois Recycling Association and the Livingston County Economic Development Council.

Kenneth D. Ehresman, President/COO

Kenneth started his Business Career in 1992 with B&K Technology Solutions as partial owner and operator after his 10 year Career in the US Armed Forces.  While in the military, Kenneth attended various electronic schools achieving such honorable mentions as distinguished graduate for academic performance.  Since returning to civilian life, Kenneth has held a wide range of Sales and Operations roles at both B&K as well as ATS in Peoria Il.  Kenneth brings 30+ years of IT and Electronics knowledge to ATR and has enabled ATR to become an Technology leader in Asset Recovery Services.

Brodie Ehresman, NE Region General Manager

Brodie joined ATR in 2012 after owning and opeBrodie72dpirating his own business in I.T. for over 20 years.  Brodie is responsible for overseeing remote site operations in our North Central Region and is based in Grand Rapids Michigan.

Kenny Ehresman, Central Region General Manager

Kenny Joined ATR in 2006 and has held various positions from I.T. Technical Positions to Site Operations.  Kenny has achieved CompTIA A+ certifications as well as other industry certifications such as Xerox and Dell.  Kenny is currently responsible for site operations at remote locations thorough  ATR’s remote collection/processing facilities.

Richard Spikes, Southeastern Regional General Manager

Rick joined the Advanced Technology Recycling (ATR) team as Southeast Regional General Manager in July of 2013.  For the previous 11 years, he worked with Swisslog Healthcare Solutions first as a Senior Field Service Engineer with the company’s Automated Material Transport Systems division and then as a Site Installation Manager with Swisslog’s Automated Drug Management Systems division.  In 2002, Rick retired after 20 years of service in the United States Army as a Chief Warrant Officer.  He served tours in the US, Federal Republic of Germany, the Republic of Germany, and 2 combat tours in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. In 1997, Rick earned an Associate in Missile and Munitions Technology at Calhoun Community College.  Rick has been married for 29 years and he and his wife, Josie, have 2 daughters.

Donna Comens, Site Startup Manager

Donna started with ATR in July of 2011 after a career in payroll installation and office administration.  Within a short time here at ATR, Donna excelled in Outside Sales and the Asset Recovery Department.  Her remarkable success led her to three promotions, the latest, Site Startup Manager.  Donna’s responsibilities include strategic planning and implementation of company site expansions.  Donna currently resides in Pontiac, IL, with her husband and two dogs.

Timothy (T.D.) Burger, Pontiac Site Manager

T.D. joined ATR in March of 2011.  In his role, T.D. is responsible for overseeing site operations in Pontiac, IL.  As Site Manager, he oversees multiple aspects of personnel, warehouse logistics and processing.  Prior to joining ATR, T.D. was a Production Manager for a large Central Illinois media company for seven years, overseeing several site locations.  T.D. was born and raised in Pontiac, IL, where he currently resides with his family.

Ray Magee, Director of Sales/Marketing

Ray MageeRay Magee returned to Advanced Technology recycling in April 2010.  In his role, Magee oversees Sales as an Account Executive, providing relationship driven sales to the corporate sector throughout the Midwest region. Prior to joining ATR, Ray has 15 years of experience in business to business sales.  Working for an import/export company near Los Angeles, CA selling to the Mass retail and Grocery Industry has provided him experience in domestic and international sales.  Born and raised in Southern California, Ray graduated from California Lutheran University with a BA in Finance. 

Jay Cox, Business Development Manager

Jay Cox joined Advanced Technology Recycling in March 2013 as San Antonio’s Business Development Manager. With years of experience in Sales and Sales Management in the South Texas region, Cox brings his relationship selling skills to ATR’s table. With his e-Waste Recycling experience and a conviction that we are all are to be good stewards of that which we’ve been entrusted, Jay is looking forward to helping businesses find an Electronic Recycling solution that meets their specific needs. Cox, a 1975 graduate with a BA from Azusa Pacific College, and is also active with the Chamber and several nonprofit and civic organizations.  Jay is a husband, father and grandfather and a life-long resident of San Antonio, TX

Steven (Buzz) Zeller, Major Accounts Manager

Steven “Buzz” Zeller joined ATR in April of 2014 as a Major Account Manager.   Buzz recently retired from one of the world’s premier commercial printers, RR Donnelley and Sons Company, with over 37 years of service that began for him as a “part time job until he found something more permanent.” His last held position with RRD was Director of Global IT Procurement and Contract Management, having worked his way from a part time entry level worker to director. He brings with him extensive experience directing operations in manufacturing, IT procurement/compliance, large business acquisition strategies and IT services contract writing. Buzz also continues to own a successful IT technology services company which he started in 1998. He earned his degree in business administration from the Center for Degree Studies in Scranton, PA., and he holds technical certifications with CompTIA A+, Microsoft, Dell and HP.   In addition to handling the day to day operations one of ATR’s major accounts, he has also assumed managing control for ATR’s Federal Government Contracts.

Buzz resides in Pontiac with his wife of 30 years Shirley and their American Cocker Spaniel “Sophie”.   Buzz enjoys spending time with his family, public speaking, and he is a diehard University of Illinois fan. He was honored 3 years ago to be the chosen as the first PA Announcer in the history of the Pontiac Holiday Basketball Tournament on its 80th Anniversary. Every holiday season he spends 3 days calling all 26 games on the annual tourney schedule, allowing him to see some of the best college and professional bound basketball talent in America.
